What was the best Redskins game of 2012 and why?

There are a lot of choices you could choose from, but I'm pretty sure you all would choose from one of the following:

A) Saints game- It was the first time we saw our rookie QB. It was also a glimpse of how good our team (offensively and defensively) could be.

B) Vikings game- It was the first game we saw RG3 run for a long TD run, and the first game back for RG3 since he was knocked out the last game.

C) Dallas game thanksgiving- It was the first time the Entire nation could see RG3, we beat Dallas in Dallas on thanksgiving, and the butt whooping we put on them was great as well.

D) Baltimore game- We beat our rivals right up I-95, and we beat them with a rookie QB, a fairly new kicker, and in OT. They obviously went on to win the super bowl, making that win a little better. Only negative is that it was when RG3 got hurt.

E) Dallas game (NFC East Title)- We won the NFC East and beat our rivals at our place and made Romo look like Romo for the rest of the offseason. But it was a very injury depleted game for both teams. Not as good as the other Dallas game in terms of just the game aspect and not the other factors, IMO.

F) Other game

I'd have to go with the Dallas on Thanksgiving game. RG3 lived up to the hype for national TV and then some and got Everyone talking at that point. Its was all sorts of big plays, Dallas made it a game late, but we still prevailed. It really set the tone for the rest of the season, to win 7 straight.

Really??

Best game - final regular season game. Beating Dallas at home to send them limping back to Dallas with Romo crying and Ryan fired. A-Train rocks the record and pummels Cowboys into a pulp.

NFC EAST CHAMPS!

I'm stunned you'd pick four games and not one of them would be the home/season finale against our hated rivals giving us our first division title in 13 years.

It's like asking someone what their favorite Star Wars movie is and leaving out Empire Strikes Back as an option.

Or favorite Jackson Five member and no mention of Michael.

Either Dallas win for me. Or the 31-6 win against Philadelphia

I was going to put that up as option 5, but other than the NFCE title and it being Dallas..it honestly wasn't that great of a game compared to the other 4 games (IMO). I love the passing game. We had no passing TDs. And RG3s big play was a slow-limping 20 yard TD run (against a slow hurt DeMarcus Ware).

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed that game, but not as much as the others. The first Dallas game was far better.

Either Dallas game was great, but the swing of emotions I went through in the 4th quarter and into overtime against Baltimore was intense. This one for me personally was the greatest game we had in 2012.

NBC airing the Redskins fans singing HTTR after Morris's final TD against Dallas on Dec 30th was my favorite moment.

But the Baltimore game was my favorite game just due to the range of emotions experienced.

That was a great game, Griffin showed y he was our leader coming back in. And then KC closing when he had to was awesome.

I put it up as an option, maybe we can get a poll with it as well.

But I will respectfully disagree with that being the best game overall last year. The only reason fans liked this game was because of the factors or the game and what was at stake. But if you look at it as just a game, it wasn't that good as other games. If you love the ground game, and depleted football teams (Bryant was injured, Austin was injured, Dallas didn't have either MLB, Ware had no shoulder, RG3 had no knee) going at it and it being rivals, yeah then it was a great game. I love games that have big plays, TD passes with some rushing TDs, and both teams playing at full strength so theres no excuses of "well so and so wasn't healthy.."

To use your star wars example, I left out Attack of the Clones or Phantom Menace. Or I left out Marlon Jackson.

For me, Dallas on Thanksgiving. Because a lot of my wifes family came into town for Thanksgiving. And most are Dallas fans...

I heard nothing but smack talk that entire week leading up to the game. I saw nothing but crying after.

They certainly did not like my toast of "Thankfully Romo is a cowboy and RG3 is not... Cheers"

Who cares about who was hurt? That's never a legitimate excuse in sports. The best game in my opinion is defined by what's on the line, what's at stake. My vote would be a the last game against DAL. That win incorporated the win against NYG in a sense (division title).
