Sounds like a pissing contest to see who can save face best. that's what i got out of it 2, that burress thought he's worth more than what the 2 deals that the giants offered and in answer to being turned down the giants backed out and called off the talks. monk81 03-10-2005, 07:36 PM maybe the Giants thought they could get him incredibly cheap since he hasn't had any interest, but Burress won't by into that..........Or maybe the Giants want to stop pursuing Burress in order to pursue James........ Anyone that thinks that our WR corp is bad.....just look at the Giants.
