LOL --

My statement was, as previously explained, intended as bait for the logically impaired. A trait that, for someone critiques others so fiercely for their failures of the same, you seem to be oblivious to in yourself.

Complete sentences? Why .. you just impose whatever meaning is convenient to your point regardless of context, ignore arguments you can't refute and, generally, pretend the rules of rhetoric are inapplicable to every pearl of wisdom you dane to share with us poor uninitiated.

lol ... always a pleasure.

Your so called bait was backtracking on a statement that everyone could see as inherently incorrect.

Please pose an argument I've failed to refute.

Is that a Great Dane or deign I ask?

I don't believe in satan, either, but this has piqued my interest:

It's like when a surgeon performs lifesaving surgery on someone and people call it a miracle. Give the surgeon credit for his or her hours of education and effort .
.

You don't think the family and friends are thanking God for that Doctor or that Doctor doesn't thank God for helping give him the tools and ability to perform that miracle ?

I LOL at that list they have. They have Albert Einstein listed as on that believed in god, yet in another section says he was in fact a non-christian that did not believe in a personal god.

No, Albert Einstein was not a Christian or even a theist (one who believes in a personal God), probably because he failed to understand why evil existed. These days, those who fail to understand the purpose of evil not only reject the concept of a personal God, but also reject the concept of God's existence altogether. If you are an agnostic or atheist, my goal for you would be to recognize what Albert Einstein understood about the universe - that its amazing design demands the existence of a creator God. Then, go beyond Einstein's faulty understanding of the purpose of the universe and consider the Christian explanation for the purpose of human life and why evil must exist in this world.

Also, many of those scientists on that list lived in a time where proclaiming there wasn't a god would have led to their execution. Galileo was brought before the Inquisition about his beliefs that supported Copernicus view that the sun was the center of the solar system. Some of his works were also banned by the church. I take that list with a grain of salt due to the era they lived in.

That said, I'd say a small fraction of the science community believes in god. I should change that amount from small to tiny.

Only if the person thanking god is an utter fuckwit. Medicine is not a miracle.

Lots of study, research and effort goes into it.
