It amazes me how some of these stupid athletes get paid more than doctors and teachers. Oh America

skinsfaninok 05-15-2013, 04:32 PM It amazes me how some of these stupid athletes get paid more than doctors and teachers. Oh America SmootSmack 05-15-2013, 05:34 PM I think David Garrard may have retired too. Not sure Ruhskins 05-15-2013, 06:15 PM I think David Garrard may have retired too. Not sure David Garrard informs New York Jets he's calling it - ESPN New York (http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/9279437/david-garrard-informs-new-york-jets-calling-it) CultBrennan59 05-15-2013, 08:37 PM That Rolando news is the most surprising today. It is by far the most surprising NFL news I've heard in a while. Like NFLdraftscout said today, the last thing this guy needs is more free time. SmootSmack 05-15-2013, 08:47 PM Josh Cribbs to the Raiders NC_Skins 05-15-2013, 08:51 PM I think David Garrard may have retired too. Not sure A shame that his knee hasn't gotten better. I love some David Garrard. Great player here at ECU, and his family is still back here. @AdamSchein Text from Garrard: "Having to call it quits. My knee is not holding up. Continuing to swell after practices. Limiting what I can do." SFREDSKIN 05-15-2013, 09:20 PM Rolando McClain of Baltimore Ravens retires at 23 - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9278165/rolando-mcclain-baltimore-ravens-retires-23) bizarro world. Him and Titus Young should get together and hang He retired 3 years ago, he's just getting around to announcing it. artmonkforhallofamein07 05-15-2013, 11:50 PM Rolando McClain Contract Details: Five-years, $40 Million | Football News Now (http://www.footballnewsnow.com/2010/rolando-mcclain-contract-details-five-years-40-million/) These two examples right here at why the NFL needed a rookie pay scale. Rolando made at least 23 mil with the Raiders and Hey Ward Bey signed a contract very similar the year before. I know the Raiders should have drafted safer players but still that is a heavy fine for picking wrong. That is one reason why it has been hard for teams to get out if the first ten picks. Jacksonville, Detroit, Oakland, and the Browns seem to draft from those spots on a pretty consistent basis. That Guy 05-16-2013, 12:08 AM rolando is in idiot (i think)... if he's on the roster for 3 games in his 4th NFL season, he'd be a fully vested veteran that would pull 1,300 a week starting at age 55 (and adjusted upward for inflation) and get 2/1 matching on 401k contributions. he quit 3 games too early... mredskins 05-16-2013, 08:38 AM https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BKUifdBCMAAdmRS.jpg I like Griffin's response. That is Derrick Rose's inbox. |
