williams would have a better chance at being a #1 than plax... plax isnt any better than gardner... he drops a lot of balls.
why not try plax now? That Guy 03-09-2005, 06:37 PM williams would have a better chance at being a #1 than plax... plax isnt any better than gardner... he drops a lot of balls. monk81 03-09-2005, 06:50 PM I think you have to consider the character issues..........not what Gibbs is trying to do not his type of guy and if character didn't matter we might have CONSIDERED Randy Moss, but the first words out of Gibbs mouth were Redskin are not considering him....... PLUS he's inconsistent.....as bad as Gardner about dropping balls, and we fans ran Gardner off the team drew54 03-09-2005, 06:51 PM Plaxico is the type of player that we all expect Snyder to sign. Since this has been the offseason of unexpected, I will continue to hope he wont sign. He might take a one year deal for less just to try and prove he is worth top dollar. That means he would bitch loudly if things werent going his way. We dont need him. Smurfs 2.0 and a WR in the draft and we'll be fine. RedskinRat 03-09-2005, 07:10 PM and we fans ran Gardner off the team Come on, he ran himself off with inconsistent play. He'd catch a ball that looked uncatchable then drop a ball which hit him in the numbers. monk81 03-09-2005, 08:02 PM Come on, he ran himself off with inconsistent play. He'd catch a ball that looked uncatchable then drop a ball which hit him in the numbers. My bad RedskinRat your 100% right.........Gardner dropped the balls and he made himself one of the most hated players on the team.......heeding our good advice, the team concurred with our opinion........ :biggthump MTK 03-09-2005, 08:20 PM I guess if we wanted a big, physical, often inconsistent WR we could just keep Gardner mooby 03-09-2005, 09:11 PM hey yeah that sounds great. and we could release lavar, clinton portis, sean taylor, our offensive line, marcus washington, and countless other's that help and contribute. and we could make mark brunell, michael barrow, chad morton, and all the other backups the starters. no but seriously i don't think we should try and get plax. its starting to sound like another high profile free agent signing that turned out to be a bust. TheMalcolmConnection 03-09-2005, 11:33 PM Mooby as in "Egg and Mooby" muffin from Jay & Silent Bob? TheMalcolmConnection 03-09-2005, 11:33 PM I agree Matty. Anyone else feel like we need ANY more signings until the draft? Redskins8588 03-10-2005, 03:47 AM Why do people on here feel the need to try to get Law? He was good back in the day, but signing him would be like the signing of Bruce Smith and Deion Sanders. Law is old, much older than people think on top of that he missed most of last season due to injury, when you are older and suffer an injury you are not as likly to bounce back as fast as when you are younger. Plain and simple Law is too old for us to be giving MILLIONS to. I feel that we signed Harris for a reason, atleast let him have a chance. |
