I loved watching him and Madden growing up, unfortunately most of his games were Dallas games but he was def a legend of the game.

From the early days with Tom Brookshire and then John Madden, it couldn't get any better. When you think NFL games, Pat Summerall came to mind. A legend will be missed. RIP.

Sad to see him go. He was the best in his day.

IMO watching NFL games lost something when Summeral and Madden team split. They added something to the whole experience. At the height of GibbsI era it seemed like they worked most of our games and they clearly liked the Skins. It was great to see game commentators that were slightly bias in our favor, Madden more so than Summerall.

One of the greats, I can't hear his voice without thinking of being a kid on Sundays watching football.

This times 1000. Feels like a piece of my childhood died. RIP.
