Gmanc711 04-07-2013, 05:22 PM Not even if teams are calling on draft day?
I wouldn't completely dismiss it.... if a team calls with a first round pick I think you need to at least consider it. Not saying that would happen, but I think if that was the case then you'd have to at least think about it. I love Kirk, and I hope he goes to a team where I can cheer him on, but RG3 is our quarterback and if we can add a big peice to maybe a championship puzzle (with a first round pick), I think you consider it...
That said, chances of that being the case are prob under 1%, so otherwise yes I agree with everyone else.
Even for a first I wouldn't deal him. Not with Griffin coming off a major knee injury. Did we already forget what life with Rex as the starter was like??

Or a first next year; let Kirk stay here this year, then after this year, then I'd really consider trading him, but this year you gotta keep him.
Dirtbag59 04-07-2013, 06:25 PM From the article:
What Cousins is, right now, for the Redskins is their starting quarterback.
It should be common sense but nothing says it better then this quote right here. The sooner fans realize this the sooner the insanity can die down. Granted Cousins is available for a price but that price should be prohibitively high at this point (ie an offer we can't refuse where the other teams fans complain about giving up way too much).

Exactly. Only for "an offer we can't refuse".

The fans believe that KC is a legit starting QB. Do the shannys believe it? If KC is a 4th rnd prospect that has real holes in his game, and he starts a few games and the league sees the holes, what would be his worth then? If they can get a high 2nd or low 1st-HELL YES trade him.

Yuck
NC_Skins 04-07-2013, 09:44 PM Won't stop fans from spouting their insane Madden like trade offers we can get for Cousins. Ooooo.....we can get a 2nd and a 4th, and a late pick next year! /facepalm
If Matt Flynn, who's had more playing time than Cousins, didn't garner a single draft pick from Green Bay, chances are Cousins isn't going to garner anything at this point unless some team is desperate as hell. Disregard anything the Raiders do, they are the exception to most rules.

I think he will eventually be able to fetch a decent return provided he continues to improve. Unlike when Flynn hit free agency teams felt like they had plenty of options at QB between the draft and free agency. Now a year later it seems that many front offices are wondering if there will be any strong QB classes in the next year or two. Sure someone could emerge but right now there is a lot of uncertainty.
FRPLG 04-07-2013, 10:44 PM Yeah I mean it'd have to just a stupid offer. Like we'd basically have get back what we gave up for RGIII. Not gonna happen.
