Cars are designed for transportation, look at how many people are killed by the misuse of them. Still readily available, still not banned.

Senate rejects expanded gun background checks | Politics - WCVB Home (http://www.wcvb.com/news/politics/Senate-rejects-expanded-gun-background-checks/-/9848766/19780770/-/format/rsss_2.0/-/3w3jmw/-/index.html) Why do you think tree huggers want a gun background check? The two issues have nothing to do with each other. Most environmentalists/outdoors men I know also are firearms enthusiasts. BaltimoreSkins 04-18-2013, 07:52 AM Senators announce gun deal, raising hopes of Senate passage - First Read (http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/10/17688832-senators-announce-gun-deal-raising-hopes-of-senate-passage?lite) Seems gun control is coming to an area near you. I did not have time to read the whole article but it seems private sales will still not require a background check. If that's the case how will any gun control work. Couldn't agree with this more. I also recently read that the majority of illegal firearms in U.S. cities are the result of legal guns being stolen from homes and cars. Not sure if any of you guys more vested in this issue have any information on that. Alvin Walton 04-18-2013, 08:05 AM Why do you think tree huggers want a gun background check?
