Off Season Griffin Man Crush threadLotus 03-21-2013, 09:53 PM We should trade Griffin for John Beck. Championship! SCRedskinsFan 03-21-2013, 09:59 PM [QUOTE=CRedskinsRule;999817]Yeah, I know, we all know how good Griffin is, but he's injured and never going to last in the league, blah blah blah. This thread is not about durability, as that is speculative and no one knows what the future will bring with him. This thread is about the fact that our team, the Redskins, has an elite - not "eli" elite, or flacco/romo "elite" but a full fledged Rodgers/Manning/Brady elite - qb. QUOTE] .....and only after one season ,in which he couldn't stay healthy,I'm impressed. Don't need your snarky comments on our Griffin love fest thread, Giants fan. Besides in your heart you know you'd give up Eli for RG3 in a heartbeat, as would every NFL executive. So cut the crap and stay away from this thread. :) - that was fun... He's a leader and he proved he's tough as nails. I think right now he's a GREAT play action QB and there's no need to talk about his running ability. In order for him to take the next step, he's going to have to be better on 3rd down, when the defense knows we're going to pass. And that means reading the entire field. His mechanics could be a little better too. Can he take that next step and be a great pocket passer? We'll see. Monkeydad 03-22-2013, 10:27 AM Agree on 3rd down, but he was incredible on 4th down. I've never seen a team go for AND convert so many 4th downs before. Here's your comment on Griffin: .....and only after one season ,in which he couldn't stay healthy,I'm impressed Sounds pretty snarky to me especially the "I'm impressed" part. Glad you like "Bob" (also snarky, and you know it), and I guarantee you'd want him starting on your team. Just the way it is...
