4 Games doesn't sound too bad. But this would be the 3rd straight year a Redskins player has tested positive for something. But if the drugs that he was taken in order to treat pain are illegal then those drugs are illegal. Hell, just take some morphine and call it a day.

Why would Rak not be ready to go?

Samething I thought, but I guess he's thinking he got rushed back last season & tore the muscle again.

4-6 months is the typical recovery time from a torn pec, he should be set to go as long as he doesn't have any setbacks

Since 2011, the Redskins have accounted for 14.6% of the NFL’s suspensions for violating their policies on substance abuse or performance enhancing drugs – Blogging the bEast (http://bloggingthebeast.com/2013/03/21/since-2011-the-redskins-have-accounted-for-14-6-of-the-nfls-suspensions-for-violating-their-policies-on-substance-abuse-or-performance-enhancing-drugs/)

That's a huge problem and should be addressed.

Apparently, it's the only way the organization can afford to sign players nowadays. Notice how the team always knows of the suspensions before it's publicized. They're either lying or using it as a contract barganing tool.
