So, how did the Ravens afford Canty but could not seem to keep any of their key guys. I still think the Ravens squeeze into the playoffs though, unlike the G-men this year, but they will lose in the first round.

That move irritates me to no end. Dude was clutch for them in the playoffs. CultBrennan59 03-12-2013, 08:34 PM So, how did the Ravens afford Canty but could not seem to keep any of their key guys. Meanwhile they have no starting MLBs with Lewis retiring, Ellerbe leaving and McClain with a bad neck. donofriose 03-12-2013, 08:36 PM I'm not even a Ravens fan but I'm butthurt about them letting go Boldin. I still think the best GM in football in my opinion has some tricks up his sleeve but I do not see a bright future for that team. Especially with Suggs getting old and having injury problems. donofriose 03-12-2013, 08:37 PM The ravens went out and got a guy at a position that wasn't even a need. Exactly, you use free agency to fill some needs and add depth, but like I said in my previous post, Newsome is one of those guys who usually figures it out. He is supposed "redskin target" none of those visits are confirmed w/ us yet though says Chris Russell donofriose 03-12-2013, 08:44 PM you said you fill needs through the draft..your lucky I like you over some of these other joe schmoes I have never said fill needs through the draft. Draft best player available. Never fails. Unless you are the Raiders and you draft a punter. skinsfan69 03-12-2013, 08:47 PM I'm not even a Ravens fan but I'm butthurt about them letting go Boldin. T.O.Killa 03-12-2013, 09:03 PM Darrius Heyward-Bey is released. I think he would be a great signing for us. Probably wont be as cheap as you would think. |
