Back to the thread topic, do you think we will sign any D-linemen? With the return of Orakpo and Carriker, our pass rush will improve, but will it be enough? Part of the secondary's problem last year was the horrible pass rush, so I'm sure there will be some change; maybe in the draft.

Pressure needs to come primarily from the LB's in the 3-4.
Having a healthy Carriker and Orakpo should help.

Of all our teams units, D Line has to be least worried about imo. Orakpo and AC will be the difference with pressure.

Do "we" think Orakpo will be healthy for all 2013? I'm getting dodgy about him. Glad we retained RJ.

IMO Jarvis Jenkins will be more beastly than he was last year. They say that it can take more than a year to regain burst after the injury that he had, so all of last year he was still trying to regain burst. This year he should be ready to bring more pressure from the DE.

I think this injury has occured a couple times now with Rak. He is in the last year of his contract, so its time to see if he is over it and can return to his high level of play. Retaining RJ is very key with that plan.

Im more interested to see what we'd have in 2014. I highly doubt both will be on the team. Would be nice if RJ played at such a level we could trade orakpo early on this year or franchise and trade next offseason.
