Skins avg. 4.7 yards per carry on non-quarterback carries.

The roster issue is that we currently have just one guy on the entire roster who can play left tackle. Hurt is probably the backup there. One left tackle to five right tackles isn't a great ratio.

Don't even go there, seriously. You take Trent out of the deck and this house of cards tumbles.

For Redskins, no doubt Tony Pashos is tough | WashingtonExaminer.com (http://washingtonexaminer.com/for-redskins-no-doubt-tony-pashos-is-tough/article/2524739)

Nice read.

His agent likes him and he got addicted to pain killers. What else?

Well, for one, he played a season with a token tendon in his ankle because his team needed him. And played pretty well. So he's a tough SoB, at the very least, although playing was probably not the best thing for his career.

By all accounts he's also a good guy, and that may be worth something as well when you have a team of youg guys.

So let's focus on his agent and his use of painkillers to play... Nice going Goat, for a few days I thought you had seen the light, if even just a little bit. But things are back to normal.

We're improving the secondary compared to this instant, yes?

Our corners aren't the real weakness of the secondary anyway. They're average cover corners who play our unique style of defense (similar to Steelers with pressure out of the secondary more than most) quite well. The FS play was bad, and Haslett's set up/positioning didn't help any, especially early in the season.

Bottom line I think is that a starting caliber FS will help the secondary far more than an upgrade at corner, especially factoring in the question of how well any of the FA corners fit our scheme.

We can do both, releasing Hall was the first step. I know we can find multiple secondary starters in the draft, just dont f*ck it up.

I gotta agree Lotus. I am 35 and I have just in the past two months been diagnosed with Chronic Plantar Facitius (I have been dealing with the problem since DEC '11). It is extrememly painful and I have been taking pain killers to get through the day until I have the down time to have surgery. I am a race car mechanic and also a crew chief on an endurance racing team. Long hours lifting heavy stuff on concrete all day and crouching in unusual positions while working on the car, running around trying to get things fixed in the middle of a race, and loading 20,000lbs of cars and equipment every other week is what has caused my problem. It is unusual for people with an average work day to develope problems like this. It is painful and problematic to say the least. It also can lead to stressing out other areas of the foot and the achilles. I am surprised honestly that he didnt rupture his achilles in the process of playing as I have developed some stiffness in the area when crouched (almost like a lineman) doing body work for hours on end.

That guy is tough as nails, and honestly he may be an answer at RT for a couple of years, obviously not much longer. Glad to have Pashos on the team and if he for some reason gets reinjured again well then so be it. He is cheap and looking to prove him self again. I like this pickup.

This I completely agree with you on. We need a FS who can cover and play the field. If we can find a good one of those then we would be good to go with our starters from last year.

Nothing wrong with taking a chance on a guy like Pashos. Hard worker, tough as nails, something to prove.
