I thought he had already played for the Raiders. *Badum-Tish* (http://www.badum-tish.com/)

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, he'll be here all week. :)

I talked with someone who met with him before the draft. This individual came away saying he never would make it in the NFL based on many factor's you just don't see on the field. This person has always been a good judge of football talent, so I will trust that opinion.

People said the same thing about Vince Young.

Sorry. Russell's still a bum. He'll be extremely lucky to come back and be a career backup.

Him and Vince Young couldn't even make the women's lingerie roster.

Searched and couldn't find this thread anywhere.

Will Jamarcus Russell make an NFL team this year? He is training at TEST Academy in San Diego, along with Jeff Garcia, Marshall Faulk, and some other high-caliber athletes.

I've been watching the documentary on him so far, and it's very interesting. Russell is below 300 pounds as of 5 days ago, and still hopes to be at 265 by the time of his Pro Day that he is holding in April.

Watching him work out, it's definatley a work in progress but he is apparantly impressing them and all involved believe he will reach his goal. He looks good throwing the ball. He had some misses but the arm strength is still there.

I don't believe for a second that J-Marc is broke. He may be celebrity broke, but i can't imagine that working with Garcia and company is cheap..

Bottom line is the guy is showing a work ethic now and i think he has to make it somewhere, maybe not as a starter right away, but he is surely better than alot of NFL backups. I know number one picks can be busts, but it's not like just anybody can get the no 1 pick....thoughts??

Mind blowing isnt it?

Well.......at 300, he may be a nice addition at RG, but I'd rather have Garcia at QB.........or maybe Bill Russell
