Yeah, but those 3 guys were some of their best. Like you said, it depends how deep you want to cut. I hope the Redskins aren't forced to dig that deep.
I disagree with that. Abraham is older and is not playing with as much disruption as he used to. Michael "The Burner" Turner lost his middle name. He is slow and not very productive now. Daunta Robinson is 30 and is third best on the team behind Brent Grimes (who they are trying to resign) and Asante Samuel. They are by far not the best players on their team.

Look at Flacco's press conference… He was asked if it was about the money. He said it wasn't about the money. It was about respect. And he felt he was worth more than that. (Isn't that about the money then Joe???)

(Isn't that about the money then Joe???)Going back at least as far as when Dionne Sanders signed with us and said, "it's not about the money": Whenever a player says that, I want the owner to step up beside him and say "Ok, so vet minimum then?"

Couple of thoughts, not worth a new thread, but things I am thinking as a Skins fan:
I would think that there has to be some Skins news today or tomorrow. Between having to be under the cap, and the new pre FA agent-team talking, the FO has to have a slew of moves they will be announcing in a brief span.
And this has to have been one of the quietest lead up to FA by a Skins FO since DS has owned the team. I think that is a good thing, but certainly the penalty has kept us out of the spotlight too.
FA starts in 5 days and it seems like any court action (re:penalty) is now extremely unlikely.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in BA's office for the next few days!

Per NFL.com we plan on retaining Davis

We have to keep Davis. I just fear that another team, like Cleveland, will pay him more than we can. If I'm Davis I'm going where the money is. Can anyone blame him?
