Nearly $3M in room? Have there been some restructures that we haven't heard about?
There usually are. The past few years it happened very quietly for a few players.

Yeah I've seen a few other sources confirm the $3M number so it must be right.

I cannot believe we paid a really, really bad version of Hall (Biggers) $1.5 million this season. Totally a head-scratcher signing at this point.

Looks like we gave him:
- $635K base salary
- $365K signing bonus
- $500K roster bonus
The min salary for his experience is $630K. And the roster bonus probably only gets paid if he makes the team. So if he's a disaster they could probably cut him and only absorb a $365K deadcap hit.
I don't know much about DJ Baggers so I can't comment whether this is a good deal or not. But I'm pretty sure DHall wouldn't come back for $1.5M.

That's encouraging. Have no idea what Hall wants, but he's not gonna command much on the market IMO, and if we're willing to pay a huge downgrade (Biggers) up to $1.5 mil I think that makes Hall a steal for, say, up to $2.5 mil based on incentives.
Biggers is replacing C. Griffin, not Hall.

Where'd he go? And who do YOU think will/should replace Hall?

winfield, followed by this year's draft picks.
or possibly hall, followed by this year's draft picks.
c griffin was a 1-year deal. he was okay, but not great for the price.

at this point it looks like Hall or Winfield. which ever one signs for a salary cap hit under 2:5 mill.
