No. It doesn't prove it. It only proves they were on better teams. I suggest you add up the number of HoFers on both the SF and Dallas squad Haley played on and do the same with who you want to compare him with. Not even close.
So a good player on a good team should get points deducted for being in a good team?

I agree bud. He was crazy as s*** but definitely one of the best.

Why? Leslie O'Neal isn't in the HoF and has much better stats than Haley. A few other DEs out there with better stats and not in the HoF. If they aren't, neither should he.
O'Neal was a heck of a football player . Other than LT , I haven't seen anyone more disruptive from the DE/OLB positions than Haley. Of course guys like Dent , Dean and others were awesome pass rushers too .
