donofriose 01-31-2013, 12:55 PM Not sure if there is a similar thread I searched and could not find one. But should football eliminate field goals and extra points?
- Still Have Kickoffs and Punts (hopefully move them back to the 30)
- Teams go for two after every touchdown.
Interesting argument by Skip Bayless

Agree!!
Lotus 01-31-2013, 01:22 PM I don't see the question here. Field goals are here to stay and Bayless is a fool. All of this is known already.
skinsguy 01-31-2013, 01:25 PM No. Field goals should not be eliminated. Stupid idea.

I do not think we would need field goals to see Tony Romo crumble.

Our work here is done. Close up shop and turn the lights out on the way out.
irish 01-31-2013, 01:58 PM While it seems like xtra points and field goals are sure things for today's kickers whenever they miss it seems like the team is chasing those lost points the rest of the game and impacts how they manage the game. No way should FGs and XPs be done away with.
