Here is my 2 cents....
I a fairly liberal guy and I have proven that in the near decade I have been on here. I also worked in the hospitality industry for decade as well. Seen, worked with, friends with and even my mentor at work was gay. No problems I don't care. 99% of them really nice guy's.
Here is my problem with them and it is in the locker room which warrants the problem that may be in the NFL as well. I understand D-raves point of view but I speaking of homosexual males and males are very visual. I have heard and been in conversations with gay males and they talk about guy's cocks they see at the gym. It was a daily conversation for them just like it is a daily conversation with my buddies to talk about boobs.
I got zero problem with any gays or what they do I just feel uncomfortable with them in the same room with me naked (locker room). Just like I am sure a female would be uncomfortable with males in their locker room leering at them. And no I am not short sighted enough to think every gay guy wants my cock.
With that said I don't think they should not have a parade, get married, be happy, etc...I just simple find it uncomfortable having them in a locker room setting.

No, it is you who are brainwashed. strait is not advertised, it's normal way of life. But like I said, times are changing, and dont involve race in this because its completely a seperate issue. Im a man and I love black women and Im white, nothing wrong with that. Now If I loved Black men, there would be a big difference...
/facepalm. Wow.....

I'll never understand the hang up some people have over what other consenting adults do in the bedroom. Such a waste of time.

"it's normal way of life"?? It is the most common and, thus, prevalent in advertising, pop culture, literature and other media. Just because something is uncommon, does not mean it isn't "normal". You and a substantial number of individuals consider it abnormal for any number of a myriad of reasons. Personally, I find nothing abnormal about homosexual relationships.
Further, from basic human physiology, there is nothing abnormal about it. Some folks are vegitarians, some aren't. Each satisfies a particular physiological appetite (hunger) differently. Neither is "abnormal". Most guys satisfy their physiological appetite for sex with women, some with men and some with either.
I also have never been uncomfortable around gay men in the locker room. The concept that guys are checking you out to me has always been a big "so what". I did theater in both college and later in community theater settings. Back in the day (and I assume it is true still), the gay/straight ratio was practically the reverse of the rest of society. It was pretty much the assumption, "oh, your a guy in theater you must be gay." Just like in the straight population - the vast majority of the guys were cool if you made it clear you didn't play on their team. Of course, some were real jerks. It never bothered me as long as they didn't cross the line. Ultimately, however, a douche is a douche is a douche whether they are hitting on men or women.
I get, but shake my head at, people uncomfortable around gays in a locker room.

Yeah at the end of the day it really is that simple.
What's so complicated about it?
Live and let live. Worry more about yourself and less about what everyone else is doing.

I really don't think this thread is about that. Its more about gay men in a locker room with other men. I personally can see how another male might not like sharing a bathroom and showers with a gay male. If its right or wrong I can understand. Not sure why that is so hard for other people to see. Its one thing to allow gays a normal life style but when your asking other men to share personal space you then need to also take their feeling into consideration. What the player said was not that bad but how he said it was not very good.

Well, to play devil's advocate, the issue isn't what they are doing in the bedroom, but, rather, what they might be doing and <gasp> thinking in the locker room.
Hey 44, they want you man ... they really, really want you. Desparetely.
Seriously, if a gay wants to check you out, he doesn't need a locker room to do it.
