Interesting . . . It is believed that Dr. Andrews injected stem cells into the injured area of RGIII's knee . . .

For the past three years, however, Andrews has been experimenting with a new strategy. "Stem cells," he says. "What we call biologics. They're on their way, and that will be a transformational event." Very quietly -- "We don't advertise it," Andrews says, "and we don't want to sensationalize it" -- he and his colleagues at clinics in Birmingham, Ala., and Gulf Breeze, Fla., have been performing stem cell injections on professional athletes. He won't name names, but Andrews has mostly employed stem cells in the deteriorated knees of football players, and virtually all of them have reported significant decreases in pain and inflammation. "It's early," he says, "but the results have been remarkable."

very interesting for sure . . . hopefully RGIII's recovery allow Dr. Andrews to continue to use the term remarkable when discussing how the stem cells helped speed his recovery!!

Nothing I juet read said anything about him injecting RGIII's need with stem cells.

so you read the article in which he says he has been using stem cells to speed the recovery of his patients for 3 years, but that means to you that he chose not to do so in RGIII ??? Also see the question marks in the thread title . . . this is because while it was assumed he did, he did not straight out say that!!

Manning did it to his neck going to Europe, he came back looking as good as ever. I think this is the new break through in medicine.

Your reading more of what the author of the article was saying then what the DR actually said. He could be but you stated in your post that "The Dr HAS INJECTED stem cells into his knee".

You're right, this does need to be said. Nowhere does the article, or any other piece of journalism, say that RG3 had stem cells injected into his knee.

But I'm comfortable assuming that he did. I'd be willing to bet that's how Adrian Peterson came back so well.

Yeah wouldn't surprise me at all either if that's the case.

The wonders of modern medicine.

They seem to be controversial, but I think they really will change medicine forever once they really start to gain momentum (likely in Europe first.) Hopefully they can help rebuild RGKnee.

It is striking how opposed some people are to stem cell research despite the obvious benefits of stem cell medicine. Hence the need for hush hush on this.
