If you are trying to say Brady is as reckless as RG3 your blind. You cant even compare the two styles of play. The difference is Brady came out of the game and stayed out after his injury until it healed. RG3 on the other hand... RG3 is reckless thats all there is to it. Relax boss, just having some fun, and making the point that injuries can happen in or out of the pocket. You said Brady never had a serious injury. Griffin is fearless (would be an awesome Green Lantern! :) ) not reckless - the two can look similar. As he learned through the season he made better choices, but an unlucky hit, and a playoff game on the line, left us where we are. If he heals, then he will know more about his body and the way the NFL level is played. But I think the main point is any qb can suffer a year long injury, even qb's that stay in the pocket more than run. And I would say Brady's jamming his leg up in the air was far more reckless than Griffins running, he just didn't get caught that time. skinsfaninok 01-28-2013, 06:18 PM More people watched the PB than the World Series... He should have ran ;) 44ever 01-28-2013, 06:28 PM Griffin is fearless (would be an awesome Green Lantern! :) ) not reckless - the two can look similar. Neither am I anti RG3. Im just not comfortable with RG3 style of play in the NFL. (For longevity reasons only) I would like more than anything for RG3 to come back and play lights out while staying healthy. What Redskins fan wouldn't... ethat001 01-28-2013, 10:29 PM I watched all of about 1 minute. Somehow it manages to get ratings, though I'm really not sure how. Personally, I think it would be a cool game if the players actually were motivated to play for real. And that would only happen if they had something on the line. 1) The winner of the game (NFC vs AFC) - would get $500,000 extra in cap money for each team in the conference. 2) Or whichever conference won -- each team in the conference would get one extra draft pick after all teams have drafted (ie. 8th round) 3) Or whichever conference won would host the SuperBowl (ie. give them some home field advantage). ie. San Diego = AFC, New Orleans == NFC) etc.. These are just minor advantages, but perhaps just enough to give a little incentive to the teams/players. CRedskinsRule 01-28-2013, 11:30 PM what about if the winning conference gets 1 extra home game per team during the next season afc/nfc matchups. so if the nfc wins, for example we would have 3afc teams at home, and 1 away. if the nfc loses we would have 1 afc home game and 3 away. or the thanksgiving tradition gets changed and the winning conference hosts all 3 games the next season. they could have probowl recognition that weekend with small presentation to the probowl players in each game that weekend, so that the Skins would recognize the Fletch et al whether we played thanksgiving or that Sunday. That would probably interfere with the total number of home games, or it would force you to play the other schedule games away. No way are owners going to give up season ticket holder money. |
