Whether he's an asshole or not who cares? The guy is a winner and that's all that really counts. Hog1 01-19-2013, 02:20 PM I've always considered Tom sort of.....mild mannered considering he may be the best QB playing the game and sporting one of the hottest women on Earth. Did I mention incredibly wealthy....... Or did he quietly become T.O. when I wasn't looking? CRedskinsRule 01-19-2013, 02:48 PM Sooooo anyways How about dem games. What's everybody got planned. Is it even something to watch, with the Redskins out? I imagine I will. The more I think about the 49ers Falcons game the more I think it will have an indirect effect on our season next year. The 49ers are running our ideal offense if Griff is healthy, and the Falcons have faced parts of it 4 times against Cam, plus us and Seattle this year. If there is any defense that is going to lay out the game tape that defenses are going watch and stop this "college gimicky" offense (so tired of those phrases), this is going to be it. Falcons DE Abraham probably won't be at full speed, but most defenses aren't going to have a guy as good as him anyway. Ravens Pats ought to be a close nailbiter if past history is any indication. So, even I don't really want either to win, I suppose it will draw me to it. CultBrennan59 01-19-2013, 05:10 PM Man, sounds like a henhouse up in here. Whether he's an asshole or not who cares? The guy is a winner and that's all that really counts. True that. As Hines ward and James farrior said when Roethlisberger was accused of rape, the players said all that we care about is football, the personal stuff doesn't effect us. Giantone 01-19-2013, 05:46 PM And Eli called himself elite. :laughing- First Eli never called himself elite,he was ask in an interveiw "do you consider youself in the same group as Peyton ,Tom Brady, and Breeze all elite QBs and he said yes."And he is,other than Brady who else has 2 super bowl wins to their credit out there playing right now? Rothlisberger... And I have the same problem with putting Ben in the Elite category as I do for Eli. They are both inconsistent and they have both had defenses that played huge roles in their teams success. Eli has proven that he can play like the elites. He has done it twice for approx. 10-12 game stretches, and the giants won two SB's. But other than those two runs, Eli is too inconsistent to be given elite status imo. skinsfaninok 01-19-2013, 06:24 PM There is only 2 Elite QBs and that's Brady and PM. Im not going to lie, I have called Peyton Elite plenty before but am second guessing that as the years go on, definitely Elite in the regular season, but playoffs is looking different. Eli has shown that when he is on his game, he deals with playoff pressure better than Peyton. And as they say, your legacy is built in the playoffs. Having said that, I personally dont think Peyton has ever had a great defense, except this year in Denver, and they played terrible against the Ravens in their lone playoff game. Cant help but think if Peyton had a playoff caliber Def actually play like a playoff caliber Def during the playoffs, whether he wouldnt have at least one more himself. |
