He's a good CB, maybe even a great CB, but the market for CBs was last season, not this season. I wouldn't be suprised at all if he's a Redskins this season either. If you listen to all the free agency chatter how often have you heard Smoot's name. Not much, because I don't think he has told his agent to really go out looking, because otherwise I couldn't see why another team would not want to pick up Smoot. He is as talented a cornerback as any other on the market and he is the epitomy of heart. I think he wants more money, but in the end he's going to sign with the Skins because e loves the team, the fans, and the city more than a couple more million dollars he could find in his signing bonus.
