Well deserved!!! I hope Morris stays healthy and we keep him for a long time, which probably means he gets a big pay day, but hasn't he already earned it?
Alfred Morris is the week 17 NFC offensive player of the week!Pages :

FRPLG 01-02-2013, 02:56 PM Well done Morris. Rookie of the Year IMO. Not sure about this. I'd put both Wilson and Griffin in front but I'd put him in front of Luck. If Adrian Peterson didn't have to carry the entire Vikings offense in his back, Morris could easily had been #1 in rushing. I would think the opposite would be true - because the passing game was so bad, defenses didnt respect it and focused more on Peterson - making his season that MORE impressive. los panda 01-02-2013, 06:01 PM ^ probably because once he breaks past the first wave, he is more "in the clear". he doesn't have 2 deep safeties converging on him, something along those lines Skinzman 01-02-2013, 06:03 PM What do you mean? Not trying to speak for Smoot. But I can see why he would say something like that. Most people try to stop Peterson by loading the box with 8, but they tend to be spread across the entire line trying to each control a gap. AP is so good at pressing the hole and then doing a jump cut or quick cut that if he can break the LOS, he gets huge yards because the second level is spread thin. He also has a good enough line to create those gaps and to AP's credit, he is great as not only seeing the holes, but getting to those holes quickly. Once he gets to the second level he's basically gone NYCskinfan82 01-02-2013, 06:42 PM Well deserved. |
