This is a game we could and should win, but Seattle is no slouch. They are more than capable of coming here and beating the Redskins.

They've fought hard and showed a lot of character. Lots to build on. CRedskinsRule 01-02-2013, 01:55 PM Turn up your TV. ;) Seemed plenty loud to me. It may have been loud, but we didn't see any false starts or delay of game type penalties loud stadiums can cause. Of course it helps when the refs give you 31 ticks on the clock, but it's not going to be overwhelming to Seattle, they are used to hearing LOUD noise, even if their offense benefits from the quiet. I didn't think at the time that Fedex was as loud(on TV) as I expected. 12thMan 01-02-2013, 02:00 PM From what I heard last night, he's getting a new, less bulky brace but will still have on this weekend I'm a bit concerned about Kory L. I think LeRibeus may end up being the better OL, though I'm not sure that will be this weekend. The brace appears to be bulky. But who really knows what's going on with Robert's knee. LeRibeus completely mauled a defender as soon as he got in the game. I think Kory will have a challenge on his hands next camp. LeRibeus looked good in the limited time he played, but Red Bryant, Alan Branch, Brandon Mebane, are all guys that can knock over guards very quickly. LeRibeus looked good, but I noticed Hatcher got him pushed around and on his back more than once. Chico23231 01-02-2013, 02:03 PM The brace appears to be bulky. Kory L is a free agent, might not be a challenge. Kory has been decent, but Monty and Chester have been better in the interior. 12thMan 01-02-2013, 02:07 PM I think the team brings Kory back. Don't see him walking. CultBrennan59 01-02-2013, 02:10 PM I think the team brings Kory back. Don't see him walking. Yeah I don't see him walking on a hurt ankle either ;) But seriously to others posts above, Kory is consider to be the Skins 2nd best OL (behind Trent obviously). There is a reason the Skins have Kory L up for the best blocker on the team award (name of it escapes me). We need to bring Kory back, because our interior OL has great depth. Are you thinking of the Ed Block Courage Award? CultBrennan59 01-02-2013, 02:17 PM Are you thinking of the Ed Block Courage Award? Thats it! ...And now I went to the Website and realize it wasn't for the teams best blocker, but for the guy who helps out the community the most (thought that was just the Walter Payton award but apparently theres 2).... Nevermind then. I still think Kory is our 2nd best OLineman, especially after he went out last year, it showed. |
