Have any of our assistants been interviewed by other teams? Any confirmed interest in Kyle, Haslett, or Smith? They have been available for a week, so I thought there might be some movement.

Right, because playing to lose would look way better on a resume than playing to advance to the AFC Championship game. donofriose 01-15-2013, 11:47 AM Right, because playing to lose would look way better on a resume than playing to advance to the AFC Championship game. I meant not to lose, my mistake. You can thank Foxball for that. Panther fans were having flashbacks after watching that Broncos/Ravens game. They've seen that script all too often. Sad thing is, this idiot still says he wouldn't do anything different. That should be a sign for Elway to fire him. Not a good HC. Great coordinator though. 2013 NFL playoffs -- John Fox, John Elway of Denver Broncos stand by choice to take knee vs. Baltimore Ravens - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2012/story/_/id/8844301/2013-nfl-playoffs-john-fox-john-elway-denver-broncos-stand-choice-take-knee-vs-baltimore-ravens) SmootSmack 01-15-2013, 11:56 AM Unconfirmed that Gus Bradley is going to be the Eagles HC BigHairedAristocrat 01-15-2013, 01:24 PM Unconfirmed that Gus Bradley is going to be the Eagles HC i definitely agree they would be better off with a defensive minded coach. Either way, i dont see them being competitive for a while. Still surprised at Jon Gruden not getting much interest. I'm assuming he's wanting more money/control than teams are willing to give him. Also surprised that no one scooped up Lovie Smith already. I think he's a great coach. los panda 01-15-2013, 01:27 PM what about gus frerotte? he's done well w john burroughs school... mooby 01-15-2013, 01:57 PM I meant not to lose, my mistake. So he played to win? Like every coach does? I don't think the playcalling at the end of the Ravens-Broncos game was really that bad. Players gotta execute at the end of the day. SmootSmack 01-16-2013, 07:40 AM Bears name Marc Trestman HC, great choice |
