I would just like to say that any opinion on football is respected Maybe not agreed with but respected.
If you all go back in this thread it was not the one who is currently catching grief that insulted, or was condescending to anyone first. Somebody else made it personal first.
See how i did all that without mentioning names.
Just trying to be fair is all.

Kinda hard to keep your composure when someone makes pointless, irrational, condescending posts over and over and over again. I mean it is basically like arguing with someone like this:

Some good quotes here from Kyle on the use of read option and its "dangers" in our offense in this article
Kyle Shanahan on coaching fast track with Redskins' malleability - NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000113501/article/kyle-shanahan-on-coaching-fast-track-with-redskins-malleability)
Let's keep it civil folks. You know what I'm talking about.

LMAO.
its very easy to scroll past comments or not read them. I would rather see a "football" argument that I dont agree with a million times, than see one post where an individual is called ignorant or cursed at or anything else like that. It is just football. Besides if all the threads were just one statement followed by 100 posts that read......."agree" with a quote this would be a helluva boring forum.

exactly.........its simple physics - stand something in your front yard, take a running start and hit it as hard as you can. Than do the same thing while its moving. Ill betcha the mobile target winds up in less pieces.
Edit: if the mobile target runs a 4.2 40 i bet you dont even hit it.
Rg-3's first injury was him not going out of bounds. Id say he has learned that lesson. His second injury was a freak thing

LOL I love it when I respond in kind (condescension with condescension) and everyone else gets pissy...
Moving on, too damn busy in the office today to look at hits across the various formations/plays, but it seems obvious RG is gonna take more contact when...he's holding the ball!? The read/option seems like the last thing we'd wanna do. The pistol can be run without QB keeps but we've mixed it up some there too. Just don't see any reason to run that stuff when you can minimize the contact to RG's knee with Mike's style offense?
The Cleveland game made me remember how impressive Shanahan and Elway were together in Denver.
