Russell Wilson is going to get the nod I hate to say. Beating teams like the Patriots and the 49ers is a bit more impressive, esp coming from a player not drafted in the first round.

Wilson has much better stats than Luck too.

ROY goes:

1.RG3
2. Wilson
3. Luck

Wilson has the 7th or 8th highest passer rating in the league. Very impressive

Have you bother to watch any of the Colts games? I love RGIII but hate the fact that people think he's the only great rookie QB. The Colts sucked last year and cleaned house, that is a young team. Check their # of draft picks.

Luck is good but it's hard to look past all the turnovers when comparing him to RG3 and Wilson who both have significantly less, especially RG3 who has 26 total TDs and only 5 INTs. That's just nuts.

I agree with what someone said earlier that the ROY race should be between RG3 and Wilson more than anything.

The colts won two games last year & that matters why? The Chiefs were 4-12 in 2009 & 10-6 in 2010. These type of turn arounds happen every year. The colts may regress & win 5 games next year.

We are just a few years removed from 4, 5 and 6 win seasons. The #6 pick was ours last year. In fact I would not have bet on us beating the Colts last year. It's not like Shanny didn't clean house in the same way the Colts did. So, the argument of winning more games is a wash to me when comparing Luck vs. Griffin.

Would everyone consider Grossmans 2011 stats worthy of any award? Compare Lucks stats this year through 15 games to Grossmans 13 in 2011.

I have watched some, not a lot, I am pretty sure we a are a young team too from our offensive starter point of view. I don't think its all rg3, wilson impressed me in the bears ot win. Luck in my view only has been 3rd best at qb

Wilson was amazing last night against a very good San Fran D. I knew he was a good QB, I had no clue he could step on a national stage against a top 5 D and dominant.

He made Carlos look bad, who does that?

Most people (on here) are actually saying that there are two legit OROY's Griffin and Wilson.

This has nothing to do with who we think is a great rookie QB anyways, it's about weighing which offensive player deserves the award more, and just by looking at the stats the picture gets pretty clear.

Just to let you know Luck has 225/224 more passing attempts than Wilson/RGIII. That tells me the Colts lack a running attack (no Morris or Lynch). More passing attempts more INT's. Luck has 4183 yards passing 254 rushing, 26 TD's 21 passing 5 rushing 18 INT's 8 fumbles. No one comes close to RGIII 750 rushing yards just like no one comes close to Luck's passing yards. The award will go to whoever takes their team deeper into the playoffs. Could be Wilson.

Given how close the race is, I think you may be right. Whoever makes the most playoff noise likely will win.

Tebow could still make the switch to TE and continue to run some wildcat. I don't think he has the speed to be a RB and I don't see him blocking well enough to be a FB.

Tim Tebow should make the switch to H-back. If not that then I'm certain he can be placed on special teams as a gunner.
