There is certainly some truth behind these so called " Rumors" I disagree with you. I highly doubt the Jets would give Smoot the high bonus he was looking for and only spread it over 4 years, they would murder themselves with the cap hit. Something is wrong with this report, either they got the # of years wrong, or Smoot is still a free agent.
