How many times do I have to hear "Have A Holly Jolly Christmas". No wonder the suicide rates go up around Christmas.

I just remember Feliz Navidad seemed to be on like every 20 minutes. It just suxed firstdown 12-12-2012, 01:51 PM I understand at the mall while I'm christmas shopping at 8:00 pm on the 23rd but other then that its over kill. ArtMonkDrillz 12-12-2012, 01:55 PM I actually don't mind most Christmas songs but I think I started listening to them too early this year, so now they're getting on my nerves. When I was in college I worked at a clothing store in the mall and we'd have to play the same Christmas CD all November and December. A lot of the songs were overly poppy and/or non-traditional, because the store wanted to be hip or whatever, but I still remember most of the lyrics 10 years later. hooskins 12-12-2012, 01:56 PM I like the traditional stuff. Not Mairah Carey's Christmas Remakes. TheMalcolmConnection 12-12-2012, 02:26 PM firstdown, I enjoy your Grinch-ness, but I also kind of agree. It's like, there are never any new Christmas songs, so it seems played out. Like imagine one time a year, it's ALL 80s hits. By the 24th time of hearing Toto, "Africa", you'll be wanting to rip your ears off. mredskins 12-12-2012, 02:39 PM Here is a new one that is pretty good: Dropkick Murphys - "The Season's Upon Us" (Video) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qTx-sdR6Yzk) los panda 12-12-2012, 02:39 PM firstdown, I enjoy your Grinch-ness, but I also kind of agree. Fantastic. That Dropkick Murphies one was good too. I just want new songs, not Pop Star du jour singing the oldies. |
