Now...on to those bogus salary cap penalties. We should get the $36 mil back plus an extra 1st rounder for the negative impact from it being implemented unfairly in 2012.

I'm curious to see if civil suits come against the NFL as a result. I feel it's fairly easy to argue that these players had their brand irreparably damaged by the first ruling and will want to get some sort of compensation.

Isn't that prohibited by the collective bargaining agreement?

Not really. I mean it is somewhat embarrassing that the NFL screwed up the "punishment" process. But in the end this ruling doesn't say that Vilma and Co. are innocent. IMO they are not.
