I have an idea. Start Cousins and have RGIII line up as a wide receiver. No, wait....

I think it all comes down to how he's actually doing on Sunday -- and as it is Tuesday, who the heck knows what the situation will be. If he's near 100%, it is hard to imagine he won't start. If he's closer to 75%, I could imagine starting Cousins with RGIII in reserve. But if he still has swelling and soreness and is function at 50% or less, we're crazy to let him play at all.

And as far as I am concerned, with what's at stake, do a little misdirection and take the fine if you have to.

I would prefer them to start Cousins with RG3 dressed as backup if needed. I believe we can make the playoffs this year, but not at the expense of RG3 reinjuring himself or having any setbacks. This season is already a win in my opinion. As a life long Skins fan, it's been a long time since I've felt we could beat anyone we were playing. This team is going to be scary next year when we get Orakpo and Carriker back and add a few pieces. I still think we can make the playoffs this year, which is bad news for every other team because no one wants to play us.

I would be fine with Cousins starting as I worry about future implications of further injury. We have invested alot to make Griffin the QB of this franchise for the future and I would hate to see a worse injury occur due to the ligaments already having minor tears. Of course I said this after the concussion and he has played just fine so perhaps I worry too much.

RG3 needs to rest his knee during the week. He'll still need to practice regardless. Maybe he'll be less mobile but he can scramble or roll out if he doesn't stay in the pocket. The 2 times RG3 has gotten injured this season is when he ran for yardage. Mike Shanahan's decision to play Rg3 or Cousins probably won't be announced until before the game against the Browns.

Shanny: Hey Pierre, can you go on ESPN and help us confuse the hell out of the Browns?

Garcon: Sure thing coach.

Cousins is more than able to win this game. Sit RG3! His injury has a minimum of 2 weeks healing rate and 6 weeks for max. This game is not as important as the big picture regarding RG3.

If you sit RG3 every time he gets a sprain, he will never play. He will always be potential and never reach it. This is an opportunity for him to accomplish his goals. Next year is never guaranteed. RG2 is right, the plan is for him to play. He is chasing glory. You can't be scared. If he sits out then the "Luck is better than RG3" crowd wins. No playoffs for the Redskins. RG3 failed would be the judgement.
