Is it just me or did others think what he was trying to convey about race was that he doesn't want to be constantly compared in the media to other black qb's and not ALL QBs?

It seemed IMHO that he was trying to say he doesn't want to be only defined by the color of his skin. We are all people period. We should be compared to all of our peers and looked at the same way. Why is there always race issues brought up as if they are race issues. The media shouldn't help perpetuating things by covering this stuff or even offering personal options. Let the story die or just leave it in print if some one must write an essay. There is more context in most articles at times and more thought put into a pice of writing as it isn't a fly by the seat of your pants tv show. Anyway done with my rant. ( the whole segement really irked me )

I am of the belief RG III plays Sunday to continue this great run he helped to spark.

Rob Parker is an IDIOT! That's y he was fired from the Detroit Press and yes he's racist. He's also said Tiger Woods needs to act more black

This thread is making me sea sick. Back n forth between topics. Lol. Can we just chalk the comments from whats his name up to absurd. Any talk at all what so ever about what being black means entails that it means something other thAn the color of your skin and is really not worth the price of the cyber space it takes up.

Agree completely, great post. (except about Cousins running -- really?)

1) Morris is a great back, but without RG3 they'd stack the box on him.
2) On passing downs, hard to imagine Cousins success w/o max protect.

People always seem to forget when they talk about our offense / O-line / RB. Clearly we benefit greatly from the scheme, and RG3. If we play "straight up", with a traditional offense, I think we could regress back to last year with Beck/Rexy. Really really hope RG3 plays this game & stays healthy for the playoffs. Yes, the playoffs.

Couple of scary stats:
1) Logan Paulson has the lowest pass blocking efficiency of all tight ends (https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/12/12/32-observations-week-14/)

2) Tyler Polumbus is the 7th worst pass blocking efficiency of all offensive linemen (https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/11/28/sig-stat-snapshot-pass-blocking-efficiency/2/).

Still really need to upgrade O-line. I'm hoping Compton learns quickly to hold up the RT spot, and maybe a couple of other late round gems next draft.Agreed running Griffin in the Pistol hides our OL weakness in pass pro.

How are Hurt, LeRibeus, and Gettis developing? Could they step up this year or maybe next season?

Rob Parker isn't doing himself any favors for his career. He needs to have a coke and a smile and stfu....

As far as Griffin III goes, the young man is leading the NFL in QB passer rating.

Robert Griffin III: 104.2

Tom Brady: 104.2

Alex Smith: 104.1

Aaron Rodgers: 103.7

Good question. He was a political science major and wants to get his law degree. That's about all I have heard, never heard him say I'm a republican. So what if he is... I am an independent who cares??

He is the Washington Redskins QB, nothing else really matters to me!

That my basic feeling too, but it seems odd that someone is considered inherently less black based off the way they vote.

So like I said before let's drop the Rob Parker talk and get back to talking about Sunday's game.

I posted this right before the comments blew the thread up. As was said, stats don't show everything, and mainly the stats favor us, but we need to put the effort on the field.

So NFLN basically said something which we pretty much knew, but that a doctor said that RG3 won't be able to run on a sprained LCL this week. We shall see.

Don't expect to see many read options this week
