You trust ESPN after that RG3 Torn ACL post yesterday on twitter?
Well this was a doctor that is fully aware of the situation at this point and he is saying that the proper protocol for this injury is "atleast a few weeks".
Im waiting for Smoot to tell me that guy comes on and says dumb shit all the time. Trust me. Im just relaying what i heard.

So some doctor on Espn just said RG-3 needs a few weeks atleast?
I don't know who said this. I'm guessing it was either Stephania Bell (don't you say one bad word about her!!!) or Michael Kaplan (who I don't know)
I mean from what I understand the norm for this is to rest it a couple of weeks, but we're not talking the norm when we talk about Mr. Griffin
Stephania said someone hacked her twitter account by the way, so maybe that's where this rogue ESPN tweet came from?

He needs time to recover. A hyper extended knee weakens the joint, causes mass swelling and you temporarily lose some range of motion.
When it happened to me a few years after my ACL surgery playing basketball, I could not play any sports for two weeks. The NFL is a whole other level/animal.
He needs at least one week off so he does not hurt himself any more.
While it it not a tear of a major ligament, his knee is injured and weakened. It needs time to heal.

I'm building a temple out of syrofoam coffe cups on my desk.
From it will emanate a healing power that will cross the country and and embed it self in RG3's knee.

A grade I sprain means the ligament was stretched and maybe some slight tearing in the ligament fibers. To this point he's only had some minor swelling. Let's let the team doctors decide if he can play or not.

Believe LaCanfora is his source for that.
:laughing2
Well we all know it's bullshit if that's the case.
As far as the knee sprain goes, I would not be surprised to see him sit a week or two. I think it really is going to depend on how much it hurts, swelling, and the simple ok from Dr. Andrews. I've had sprained and a tore ACL so I feel his pain. Each person and injury is different though.
From Mike's perspective, he probably won't tell anybody crap until the day of. (or until he has to by rules)

I don't think it's a question of *can* he play, but rather *should* he play.

Lol. It definitely was not a Stephania. Older gray haired man.

If he can, he should.
He's already saying he expects to play. In the middle of a playoff run he's gotta be out there if he can go. Plenty of other guys are banged up and nursing some sort of injury right now. That's just the way it is this time of year.
