The whole Larry Fitz thing just goes to show the vagaries of fortune in the NFL. You can be the right player in the wrong place and be denied a HOF career. Imagine Fitz with A. Rodgers or D. Brees or any competent QB.

It really is a shame for him.

That's why you can't really go on "Super Bowl" wins when discussing the greatest. Think Warren Moon, Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss, and even Terrell Owens.

It's also why Steve Young was a nobody in Tampa Bay, but became a HoFer in San Fran.

Pats always do this, they love when they feel challenged and the underdog role. That's when they r just amazing

But they are not the underdogs at all. When Chad Henne takes you to overtime, you're not going to be the favorite.

He didnt have to sign that contract extension, he made that choice knowing Warner was not coming back.

The way his father is acting is just as embarrassing as Arizona playing football.

Texans got whooped.

Oddly enough I like their second chance against the Pats at Reliant.

Apparently Schaub can't handle the pressure,he didnt look like the same qb last nite
I heard on radio this morning Schaubs worst statistic games are the 5 he's had in primetime

Denver he played great don't remember if that was a prime time game or not though just remember it being on tv. Still not many people are trusting him anymore after his green bay, chicago, and new england performance

Dez Bryant broke a ring finger, could be out for the year.

I don't know which ring finger specifically, since he's bought rings for all of them.

When I say he bought rings, I didn't mean he actually paid for them. Does that count as bought or stolen?

Paul Tagliabue vacates New Orleans players' bounty penalties - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8736662/paul-tagliabue-vacates-new-orleans-players-bounty-penalties)

Somewhere Roger Goodell is pissed that his predecessor showed him up by being a better commissioner. Big win by the players.
