^ Yeah, it still bothers me that the Midgets could have signed Ryan Grant or any other running back free agent. To sign a running back who hasn't played in an entire year is questionable. Torain wasn't even apart of any NFL team's training camp.

Ryan Torrain doesn't know anymore about the Skins offense than the Giants can't learn by watching the Skins previous games. Everyone knows what's coming with the triple option, its either a run up the middle, a run by RGIII to the outside or a playaction fake bomb to Robinson. You just have to pick what you are stopping. No mystery, just better execution.

Yup, it all comes down to RG3 and his cat and mouse game with the ball fakes.

Sometimes it's hard on TV to tell who has the ball, I can only imagine what it's like on the field.

you know, that would be an interesting stat - which offense fools the cameraman the most? it seems that several times a game, the cameraman starts to follow the wrong player. most of the time, the cameraman, recovers pretty quickly, but its still noticeable.

Just reading this thread for the first time b/c I was of the "yeah? so what?" mentality about this signing. Imagine my surprise to see the paranoia over signing a RB who has been out of the league a year, never played with RGIII and was pretty much a one-trick pony when he was here.

I HOPE they play Torrain. I would suggest we know more about him than he does of this offense. He's a banger, with limited speed and bad vision. Essentially, he's Morris without the vision, patience or quickness.

I think Redskins4Ever has some peculiar obsession with the Giants (and I guess their fans) like he's determined to wipe them off the face of the earth, so to speak

LOL Smoot, to be honest with you, I don't have an obsession with them. I'm just extremely sick of them. But I'm not the only one who agrees that Ryan Torain being signed by the NYG is a questionable move by their front office.

Questionable move? It's similar to us signing Grant earlier in the year. Just a move for depth due to injuries. If they don't like him they'll cut him and move on to someone else.

^ Jerry Reese could have signed Ryan Grant or any other free agent running back that was available. Torain has been out of football an entire year. You mean bringing him in for a workout and signing him to a deal was the best they could do? Nay!!! They brought him in to pick his brains about the Redskins playbook. Torain is the second former Redskins running back the Giants brought in this year(Andre Brown). This is similar to spygate.

When did Andre Brown play for the Redskins?

If the Giants were truly looking for insight to our offense, wouldn't it have made more sense for them to sign Grant, who actually played in this offense as opposed to Torain who hasn't?
