I was thinking more along the lines of UDFA..but 5-7 is good too.
True that. Who else ya gonna get in the 5th to 7th round.

CultBrennan59 02-04-2013, 01:14 AM True that. Who else ya gonna get in the 5th to 7th round. depth, depth, depth. Marques Wilson WR Ex-Washington St is very very intriguing prospect to get in the later rounds, he was projected to go in the first round until he got booted off the team with a dispute with mike leach who has a history of ticking players off. CultBrennan59 02-04-2013, 01:21 AM Btw Skins fans Jacoby Jones contract with the ravens 2 years $7 million. All he did was have 1 punt return, 2 kick returns, 1 receiving TD, and in the playoffs: 2 TDs (1 of those was a clutch game winning TD catch) receiving, and 1 kick return in the super bowl for a TD. donofriose 02-04-2013, 01:25 AM depth, depth, depth. True that as well. Great draft for depth. Depth wins championships. Look at the Ravens this year. or the Giants last year. You are not going to have the same 22 starting every week. Jacoby Jones is a very productive player. In recent memory, I don't that I've even seen Devin Hester produce like Jones did. Coff 02-04-2013, 08:58 AM Just like a quarterback with an offense, a think a kick returner gets too much blame when the unit does poorly and too much praise when it does well. Granted, Banks has made some boneheaded decisions, but there are ten other guys on the field who are supposed to be opening up lanes for him as well as a coach who should be designing schemes. Remember when we signed Chad Morton? He had been enjoying a lot of success returning kicks for the Jets; we signed him expecting to see the same level of success. Didn't work out that way. Hopefully the team will focus on building a better return unit instead of looking to just replace BB. Chico23231 02-04-2013, 10:12 AM stupid, stupid Texans Monkeydad 02-04-2013, 01:27 PM Jones should have been the MVP last night. Flacco was good but lets be honest...with his WRs, especially Bolden, all he has to do it put the ball in the air and they go get it. His throws can be way off and Bolden will beat everyone, including gravity, to the ball. NC_Skins 02-04-2013, 01:35 PM Jones should have been the MVP last night. His throws can be way off and Bolden will beat everyone, including gravity, to the ball. I was for giving Jones the MVP for his all out effort with the two TDS, but Flacco made some crucial 3rd down conversions in the 2nd half that kept that offense moving and ultimately saved the Ravens ass. Third and a half a yard to go and he throws a pass to Boldin who simply makes a incredible grab. Ballsy. I think Flacco played very well last night, but his WRs made him look better than what he should have. Some of his passes were thrown up for grabs and their WRs made the play on it. Lotus 02-04-2013, 02:21 PM Yup. Flacco played well and I don't begrudge him. But I would have given the MVP to Jones or Boldin. |
