The Redskins have had some pretty solid wins against Dallas. But to me this was just a game we needed.

I would rank the win in this order:

1. 31-17 NFC Championship win over Dallas 1982
2. 26-3 NFC Championship win over Dallas 1972
3. 41-14 trashing of the Cowboys at RFK Stadium in 1986
4. 38-31 whooping over Dallas at Cowboys Stadium on 11-22-12
5. 30-28 to complete the first ever season sweep of the Cowboys in 1984

#5 was great bc they were down 21-6 at halftime. How about the Army fatigues game, 31-10 win. Or the Troy Vincent game

This was a nice win but nothing can touch 1982. Winner goes to the SB, loser goes home. Back then the teams hated one another, not the case now.

The dominant NFC Championship wins over the Boys in '72 and '82 are definitely the tops. After those, I would put this Thanksgiving win ahead of the 2005 regular season sweep (Santana Moss miracle in Dallas; Cooley 3 TDs in blowout win during drive to the playoffs) for the following reason: This was a national coming out party for RG3. Those who hadn't seen him might have thought he was a lot of hype, but after that performance, the NFC East is officially on notice that the Redskins are relevant now, and will be for the next 10+ years with RG3's superior QB play.

as far as games ive seen, it would have to be in this order the monday night miracle, the the 2007 finale against dallas when we beat them by 21, and then this one

Umm Mike Jenkins pushed Garcon and Moss went over and hit him...They still are hasty to one another.

It's pretty high up there. I would have to say the only three I can rank above are the 1972 NFC Championship game (which is at the edges of my memory and a big reason I am a Redskin fan), the "We Want Dallas" 1983 Conference Championship which truly ushered in the Joe Gibbs era, and the 2005 Hall of Shame game.

Actually, I would rank it above the 2005 game slightly just b/c of the epic nature of the victory (First win on Thanksgiving in Dallas). Depending on the events of the future, it could move up to challenge the first two. If we end up in the playoffs and RGIII ends up having the career we hope, history may judge this as his "coming out" party as the 1983 was to Joe Gibbs.

That 1983 championship game is when i became a Redskin fan!!

Nothing can top the playoff victories, cmon man,its the playoffs!.For me,this was a great win,but the Moss game still tops it for the sheer joy I felt at end of game.
The skins have found so many ways to lose games at the end that I cant even enjoy a game anymore,I keep waiting for them to screw it up.So when Dallas started their comeback Thursday it was more sheer relief that we won then joy.On the other hand, the Moss game I thought we had no chance of winning,so when we pulled that out of our ass at the end I went around the house screaming and waking everyone up in the house to tell them what just happened

I was at the 1982 NFC Championship game in RFK Stadium. That was the most amazing atmosphere I could possibly imagine! That has to be our greatest win ever against Dallas.

This win, our first on Thanksgiving Day, has to rank very high. Maybe even in the Top 5.

1. 1982 Championship game.
2. Monday Night Miracle.
3. Brunell throws two late bombs to Santana Moss for the win.
4. Thanksgiving Day win?
