Love the man's character and heart. But not what we need on this team. Plus, I am starting to question his age a bit.

I think keeping our defense together is a prioty.............we need Pierce and Smoot......we especially do not want to see Smoot go to the Cowboys.........

I think we can draft a WR and find a free agent less expensive then Plax.................

Yeah T.J. is off the market. I would much rather see Plax sign with the Vikes. That would assure that they aren't taking a WR and eat up a bunch of that cap space with an overpaid player. If they sign Plax, I think we are sitting pretty for Big Mike, and that is my biggest offseason goal, aside from re-signing at least one out of Smoot and Pierce.

With regards to the draft:

From ESPN Insider: We're hearing that USC WR Mike Williams originally opted not to work out at the NFL combine because he had already been promised to be selected No. 5 overall by the Buccaneers.

Great.....I really don't want to see us get Edwards. The Bucs will have an amazing young WR group with Williams and Clayton. Hopefully we could trade down a few spots and grab Williamson.

I know that this may sound a little crazy, but I do not think that we will have to trade down to get Williams. I honestly believe that he will still be around for the ninth pick. Even if he doesnt make it there are a couple more good WR's in the draft. They might not be as big, but when has Gibb's ever had a big receiver?

PSUskinsfan said to trade down to a lower pick to get Williamson, not up to get Williams.

Oh, and as for Gibbs having a big receiver....Two words: Art Monk!!! :)
