I think that we still have a VERY good shot at Smoot. I think he wants to see if he gets any big offers, and give Washington the chance to match it. if smoot gets too high of an offer to match from another team and team officials sending out signals that most if not all signings will be pretty low key, makes me wonder if maybe they might sign someone like Ken Lucas, Anthony Henry or Andre Dyson as opposed to a Rolle or Law type signing.
