It's only close in the popular vote. Electoral votes, Obama is going to end up crushing Romney.

certain things just played out in obama's favor.

latino's could go either way, but i think some of the issues in arizona and obama's willingness to ease enforcement played against the red team. the bailouts were very popular in ohio where it mattered. the trans-vaginal ultrasound type laws also hurt the red team. alienating the poor, gays, etc. just a bad idea to push so many people away when their population is growing pretty rapidly.

I mean, i could be way off, but the reps need to go moderate, the hardliners are still going to prefer them, but they need a bigger base. unlimited money isn't enough, apparently.

Dream Act in Maryland, marriage equality and the casino all passed in Maryland.

Although I don't really have a feeling one way or another about the casino referendum, it feels great having voted in Maryland for Question 4 and Question 6.

i don't understand all the hate on equality issues. it just seems so.... basic.

congrats to MD and CO though ;) the next step to legal pot is taxing it.
