It's only close in the popular vote. Electoral votes, Obama is going to end up crushing Romney.
lol... right. A close popular vote is meaningless.

A close popular vote is meaningless. That Guy 11-07-2012, 12:13 AM certain things just played out in obama's favor. latino's could go either way, but i think some of the issues in arizona and obama's willingness to ease enforcement played against the red team. the bailouts were very popular in ohio where it mattered. the trans-vaginal ultrasound type laws also hurt the red team. alienating the poor, gays, etc. just a bad idea to push so many people away when their population is growing pretty rapidly. I mean, i could be way off, but the reps need to go moderate, the hardliners are still going to prefer them, but they need a bigger base. unlimited money isn't enough, apparently. skinsfaninok 11-07-2012, 12:17 AM Did Colorado legalize marijuana? skinsfaninok 11-07-2012, 12:18 AM Meanwhile Colorado legalized marijuana for recreational use. Woot. Lol I'm only one state away! DynamiteRave 11-07-2012, 12:21 AM Lol I'm only one state away! Washington State legalized for recreational use as well. DynamiteRave 11-07-2012, 12:22 AM Dream Act in Maryland, marriage equality and the casino all passed in Maryland. Although I don't really have a feeling one way or another about the casino referendum, it feels great having voted in Maryland for Question 4 and Question 6. So proud. That Guy 11-07-2012, 12:33 AM i don't understand all the hate on equality issues. it just seems so.... basic. congrats to MD and CO though ;) the next step to legal pot is taxing it. saden1 11-07-2012, 12:35 AM Dream Act in Maryland, marriage equality and the casino all passed in Maryland.
