so if someone flew a drone over te US and killed your parent, or a 4 star general, that wouldn't be terrorism? or does logic magically only work one way.
I can tell you, if that happened, i'd be pretty pissed.
Exactly. The point of these treaties is the 'do unto others' mentality. If we break those rules, we simply can't expect others to follow them.

Everyone deserves downtime not to mention the fact that it is possible to walk and chew gum at the some time. The president isn't lazy but you guys go ahead and keep thinking that.

I've never understood all the angst over drone usage.
In most cases we have the permision of the local govt to use them.
Its a hell of a lot more efficient to just drop on them then to send in a team and capture them and bring them to Guantanamo bay. (Obamas policy)
And it also puts less American lives at risk.
There may be some rule bending going on there, that may be putting it mildly, but if it prevents another 9/11....well then drone baby drone!

My biggest gripe with the Obama administration. Drone strikes are horrible for long term foreign policy in the mid east...and they're illegal.
You really think that Obama and our military have not been warning Yamen to wipeout those terrorist camps or we will ourself. Last time we ignored those camps bad things happened. Terrorism is illegal by international laws and aiding and abetting is also illegal by international law. This is one area I support Obama as long as its used wisely. Another words I don't want him to kill 20 women and children to get one or two terrorist.

Perfect quote..given how quickly presidents gray (http://images.politico.com/global/politico44/110427_obama_graying_ap_522_regular.jpg) you would think you think they could use some downtown.
...sometimes I wish I lived in their bubble, you know, vacation there for a few weeks and see what it is like in there.

As said in the article, this is just a "toothless temper tantrum" from some on the far right. I am not sure what the population of each State where it is filed, but I expect anywhere from a 10-20% response - with only a small portion of those numbers actually reflecting people who desire seccession and the rest made up of people "making a statement".
Reconciling the (what appear to be) very different views of America based largely on regionalism is going to be a difficult challenge for this country going forward.

I don't believe we have "very different" views. I do believe the agitators want us to believe we have "very different" views. They have sold certain segment of the population on the idea that "There's Nothing in the Middle of the Road but Yellow Stripes and Dead Armadillos" and that compromise and win-win solutions are not desirable.
Bottom line, the problem is lack of leadership and in absence of leadership you get this:
flBpsyFbEOs
We need leaders who can say "that's quite enough of that."
