I get it you look to the receiver's eye for a sign of the ball coming. But that doesn't mean you keep looking into his eyes. You're not out on a date. :cheeky-sm Have to agree -Im gonna go so far as to say that was one of thee worst performances at any position I have seen in a long time. Ugggh.. hagams 11-05-2012, 08:53 PM I'm furious at the way we have been using Alf. I understand that he was hurt late in the game, but why switch to Royster on 3rd and -5? He's getting good yardage everytime he touches the ball. I like(d) Royster, but I'm onboard the Alf train now. I want to put every open catch on the DB's. They are horrible, but it looks more like a scheme problem than anything. redskinsman18 11-05-2012, 09:11 PM Add WR drops, no pressure from front 7, & the inability to cover a slow fat guy like me let alone NFL caliber WR's to the list. HailGreen28 11-05-2012, 09:42 PM We're baaaaaaack (snip great critique of the game) There are plenty more but we'll start with theseThose were really good, and I think the rest of us were just trying to add on to that the last few pages lol. What other "smack downs" do you have for people you haven't mentioned? Like say Josh Wilson, Perry Riley, Polumbus, etc? punch it in 11-05-2012, 10:08 PM I think going for it on fourth and goal (and to be clear, I still haven't seen the play) was the right call. There may be an issue with third and fourth down plays, allowing the quarterback to get us out of plays that can't work. But again, I haven't seen the play, so I'm not going to say "the call was awful." Our fourth down conversions have been nothing short of amazing this year. I was in favor of it at the time so i wont lie now and say i wasnt. punch it in 11-05-2012, 10:10 PM Those were really good, and I think the rest of us were just trying to add on to that the last few pages lol. He mentioned Josh Wilson in a not very subtle way actually - and very deserving too. Lol. HailGreen28 11-05-2012, 10:43 PM He mentioned Josh Wilson in a not very subtle way actually - and very deserving too. Lol.Yeah, and that and everything else he said was great. DynamiteRave 11-05-2012, 11:09 PM I'm furious at the way we have been using Alf. I understand that he was hurt late in the game, but why switch to Royster on 3rd and -5? AlfMo is a hard runner, Helu is a speedy 1-cut kinda running back. Royster is ???? I mean he just seems like he's kinda "there". God knows he can't block. It doesn't look like he's a hard runner (or maybe I'm just spoiled on Morris now). So... Eh? Those were really good, and I think the rest of us were just trying to add on to that the last few pages lol. What other "smack downs" do you have for people you haven't mentioned? Like say Josh Wilson, Perry Riley, Polumbus, etc? God knows I've had it in with Wilson since Game 3. I know people around here love to give players the benefit of the doubt and everyone thinks that I think Wilson is the second coming of Satan, but seriously, the guy has consistently sucked for the majority of this season so far. I mean the whole secondary blows, but watching Wilson out there is like having Kevin Barnes back on the team. Dude is always getting beat, doesn't look at the ball EVER and if he does its not until the last second. And why is it when I see replays, Wilson is like 5 yards off his man? Even in a man coverage play? When WRs cut on Wilson, he's toast. Riley I think has been solid mostly, but absolutely stunk in the Panthers game. And we all know Polumbus should've never been a starting RT. Really that Panthers game just looked completely mailed in. You shouldn't be getting dominated by a 1-6 team at home. Completely gutless and heartless performance by the entire team. skins89moss 11-06-2012, 12:43 AM Hey Smoot you make some good points on the play calling on in the Red Zone. I would like to see RGIII have more of a pass option near the goaline. i do not like running sweeps near or on the goal line. I hear skins fans wanting to get rid of SHANNY but why do this when we are finally getting younger talent on the roster . We have a future star QB and a nice young RB in Morris let's keep them in the same system and let them grow with the coach. Lets be patient and not over react over a few losses. Remember this year we take our lumps so next year we kick some butt. Hey look Andy Reid will be available would any Redskin fan want him to be our coach? I rather stick with Mike S. |
