Those fans were booing a team that had recently won a superbowl and was in a heated battle to win the division and go back to the playoffs. You're joking right? at the midway point in 2007, the Giants had gone 25-23 in Coughlin's first three seasons and had made the playoffs two years in a row. Comparing the point the Redskins are at now with them is imbecilic. McNabb I can understand. I don't see how he set himself back with Grossman/Beck. What would have the better choice been? Draft Gabbert or Ponder and not get guys like Kerrigan? Sign Hasselbeck and still have to get a QB this year?

Not buying. Phillips lost control of the team, true. But they did not quit on effort.
