2013 NFL Draft Prospects

Unless he gets to the 6th round I'll pass on the tea leaves. He has headaches written all over him.

They said the same about Vontaze Burfict and others. i will use a 3rd on him.

I can't imagine any profession that can match the earning potential of a back-up QB in the NFL. Not to mention the networking opportunities in broadcasting. Strange/wrong decision imo.

Maybe he values being with his family on a regular basis instead of in the film room, weight room, trainer's room, bus, airplane and hotel all the time.

Vontaze had first round talent, Mathieu was not a first round prospect even before getting kicked off. He was a second round prospect that struggles in man to man, lacks elite speed and lacks size. But he should be available in the later rounds and would definitely be worth taking by then.

True that, maybe he is stable financially and used football to pay for school and dreamed of pursuing another career.

You sure about not having first round talent? Again that was said about Brandon Flowers as well. Not many have elite speed, but I think 4.4 to 4.5 is fast enough for him.

What about the guy from the Rams, almost won defensive rookie of the year. Some guys grow up.

Janoris Jenkins, some weed is what people are saying he shouldnt be touched unitl the 6th round for.

Some weed could cost the Skins big time if Trent or Fred pick it up again.

What's so special about Mathieu? He's too small, he's not particulary fast, and he's not much of a tackler. Even in the later rounds, we can find CB's who are bigger, faster, and better pro prospects than Mathieu.
