I have the opinion that they should definitely bring him back. I think he has earned it. After a couple of years implementing the system, acquiring players through FA/draft, I am anxious to see how this defense grows and performs next year providing they stay relatively healthy.
I am expecting a deep run this year...I believe the Skins can match up against every team that made the playoffs. The only game that I think they would struggle in is GB in GB for the NFC Championship.
BUT next year could be even more special. Keep it all together...

Jarvis Jenkins is starting to play better and I think it's helping Haslett.

He is playing better, and that is nice...but that is just what he was expected to do - play at a high level and make an impact on the D-line.
I just think that after losing arguably the best or most impactful player on all three levels of the defense to injury (Carriker, Orakpo, Merriweather), not to mention the absence of TJ and CG, Haslett has put together some nice games and deserves the credit.

Jim Haslett as Redskins' 'mad scientist' - NFC East Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/47660/jim-haslett-as-redskins-mad-scientist)
This is why people need to be careful before they criticize Coach Haz. He is one of the reasons why we made it to the post season. Regardless of where the Redskins ranked on defense this past season, I'm really glad that Bruce Allen extended Haslett before the season started.

Having Coach Fletcher on the field doesn't hurt either...

A 3-man rush was a nice change up. Coverage wasn't executed well. I saw who was on the field during that defensive play and was like, "yikes!"

It's a happy medium; players are stepping up, Haslett is covering up deficiencies, and of course RGIII's leadership has inspired everyone's play.

Rather have Haslett get a HC than Kyle:

Late input: During the Cowboys game the defense looked great. Haslett did a great job with the guys he had. I say he stays. If he can make the Redskins defense look that good, then he deserves to keep his job. I heard it was Mike Shanahan who wanted to switch to the 34, not Haslett. Plus the defense had a lot of injuries, which put them in a real bind.

Again, the big knock on him before was that he couldn't adjust in games (Amendola this year; Joe Webb last year for example).
Has he been adjusting now?
