Just what this organization needs, more change. Its the talent (or lack thereof) not the coaching.

And its just a matter of time before Hasslett gets the Blitzkrieg Bop!!!

Since the word is that Haslett has lost the locker room, he has to go. It will be impossible to get good results while he is here.

I voted after the season, but if the locker room's lost, go for it during the bye week. Suppose it can't get much worse than your players thinking you're a joke.

I have an idea. Let's switch for a 4-3 during the bye week.

OK, all joking aside. I don't see how getting rid of Haslett helps. To be clear, there are instances when addition by subtraction is a viable strategy, and D. Hall is getting perilously close to the point where that could happen, but for coaches, that's generally a bad idea unless the locker room is lost. Moreover, on our staff, it doesn't seem like anyone has more experience with the defense we're running. And I don't get the sense that Haslett has lost the locker room (I haven't seen a single report indicating as much, which one often sees when that happens). I do think that the staff is now trying to think about how else it might generate pressure -- I think seeing Baker on the field yesterday was evidence of that (even though it was not successful). I also think they're pushing the CBs to press a little more at the line -- as evidenced by C. Griffin's penalty. But clearly, these things are not enough.

Again, to clarify. I believe he's lost the locker room. And I'm basing that on knowing he's lost certain key players.

As for Raheem, I guess he'd be the natural successor if a change were made right now. I think the players like him. But I don't think he's ready to be a 3-4 DC

How do you know he's lost certain players? Not doubting your word, but I am curious as to what you've heard and what you know. And which players? If he's lost D. Hall, for example, it's hard to get too exercised about that. But if he's lost Fletcher, on the other hand, that would be genuine cause for concern.

Wives like to talk about their husbands sometimes, that's how I know. And it's players that matter
