mredskins 11-05-2012, 05:28 PM Sig test.....
edit: for whatever reason I do not see the Ferdinand Foch quote on my Iphone - never knew two were coming up.............not sure why that is so terribly annoying to anybody, but your wish is my command. Now I will continue to bring supplies over to the hurricane shelters - now that MRedskins problems are taken care of.
It is annoying because you see it above the quote line and you naturally read it every time you post. I think most on here would agree it is annoying not to mention it is just a AD for iPhone and Tapatalk. Thanks for dropping it, now focus on quality versus quaint.

Dont thank me I dropped it because its something I have been meaning to do. As far as focusing on quality vs quaint - whatever the hell that means - I will post whatever I want whenever I want, because I respect others opinions and posts even if I dont agree. You may do the same.

Thats why I love people from Jersey... :)
Bucket 11-05-2012, 05:47 PM Dude read the entire post before you spout off with your sarcasm as usual. I clearly said that I wasnt expecting superbowls - and i am pretty sure that more than twice in 100 years a team with injuries has been competitive against a 1-6 team.
I did read what you said, but just because a team is 1-6, doesn't mean a team that is 3-6 should just steam roll them.
Records don't mean a lot on Sundays.. If that was the case, then why do we even play? Let's just go on last years records and start the playoffs.
I apologize about the sarcasm.. It's the only way I can respond in a joyful manner without totally being in the WTF face the whole time.
I'm basically like this, 95% of the time on the Warpath

LMAO - Bucket man - I didnt say steamroll them, I said "At least be competitive".........you keep twisting my post around.
Im the most sarcastic person I have ever met, but I still try and really read a post and digest it before I quote it and reply. Anyway ..........gonna be a long two weeks - and I really wish we had won yesterday so the Turkey day game would be meaningful - rite now we are two games out of the wildcard spot - so I will probably be re-energized with hope in two weeks..........
edit:forgot about Philly game - same wish applies........
The Goat 11-05-2012, 06:19 PM People go on and one about the Packers like that's something to expect from every injured team. What the Packers did in their SB season was pretty amazing and it'll probably not happen for some time. That's like saying that the Ravens won with Trent Dilfer, therefore every other team is grossly overstating the need for a big time QB.
The Packers SB winning team, like the Ravens with Dilfer are the exception, not the rule.
The Packers were an extreme case that won the SB, and Giants to a lesser extent, but you miss the point entirely. We're not talking about winning the SB here. We're talking about just becomeing a competitive team, and there are myriad teams over the last several years who lost talent due to injury and stayed competitive. NE lost Brady for an entire season and still won 11 games (or was it 13, can't remember for sure). That's almost as amazing as what the Pack and Giants accomplished, because losing your franchise QB is huge.
The "injury ruined our season" excuse holds no water, as there are too many cases that prove otherwise.
Bucket 11-05-2012, 06:22 PM Who asked that question at the end of the press conference?
He's an idiot lol.. Mike never said "We are going to play young guys" Media is so blood thirsty sometimes.
Swarley 11-05-2012, 06:29 PM The injuries did not ruin our season, the injuries coupled with every other factor have ruined our season. As a matter of fact I don't know if our season has even been ruined. I expected a roller coaster season. Also It's much easier for an established team like the Patriots to get over injuries. When you're a young team that is trying to take it's first big step as a team, injuries are a killer.

11-5.
I dont remember any of us growing group of "doubters" ever once even mentioning the words super bowl, yet it is always thrown in our faces. I just want to be relevant when it gets cold outside...............

completely - this is one case where I have been defending Shanny. All he was saying was - "now were going to see who fights and who doesnt" - I never once read anything else into that.
