Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

Monday morning I voted Shanahan should be fired, turns out it was all emotion. Overall I think he has brought in some good youth and turned over the roster nicely. RG3 is amazing although Shanahan can't get full credit for that, he would have taken Griff or Luck, either would have been good but it was a preety much can't miss situation.

McNabb was a mistake because, although most will disagree with me, I think JC had more to offer and was always just in a bad situation. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that we have the QB we do now, but man my life is going to be cut short 20 years just from being a Skins fan. I say next year we need to be 9-7 minimum or Shanahan is fired.

I've decided the same, and there's a bit of irony. Mike stuck his nose up at JC and sniffed out three inferior QBs in McNabb, Rex and Beck instead.

We were in a ton of games last year, and the year before too.

All NFL teams are in a ton of games every year. The worst teams can be within 3-7 points every week and loose them all very competitive but pro teams by definition are and should be competitve. It's the winning organizations that win the 3-7 point games every week that is the difference.
Why hasn't anyone started a string about the skins not having a hurry up offense? When ever there are critical times in a game the skins are in huddle as if there is no clock. Do the Shananhans need that much control of a game that they are not playing in? Even in 2 minute situations, the offense is in huddles? Is that good coaching?

I'm neither but I love Coors Light. It's sure better than Miller light. Might as well just drink a bottle of water.

I also like Milwaukee's Best, but for some reason, now and then I like a cheap ass beer.

I said Coors Light specifically because that's BA's beer of choice

I understood you. BA seems like a good dude, and it was encouraging to hear how he's changed the culture at Redskins Park for the better. I suspect we haven't seen his hand in personnel decisions much, which is disappointing.

Great? I'm an Allen fan, but if he's done great, what superlatives are left for Thomas dimitroff or Martin Matthew? Stupendous?

I'll give you a stupendous on Dimitroff. He found a stud QB and quality coach in hs first year and has continued to obtain quality talent over the course of five years to build a consistent winner.

Mayhew? eh. Jury's very much out on him. In his five year tenure (Hey, look at that, another five year term) his teams have are 20-47. They have had one winning season and appear to be taking a big step back this year.

But to clarfy - I think Allen has done a very good job at acquiring talent, a great job in accumulating draft picks and a stupendous job at removing the Cerrato stank at Redskins Park.

absolutely NOT. Shanahan has reshaped this roster with young talent in basically two years. THe offense is working very very well, and needless to say without our #1 receiver, that we all saw when healthy and on the field does make a difference. Our TE is down, but most importantly we have RGIII, and the Shanny's are doing a spectacular job of designing the offense to suit his strengths.

Total shame to show Shanahan the door at the end of the season.
